Things to do when you feel unhappy and negative.

Negativity is a feeling which comes without an invitation, and it makes you want to stay in bed all day.

But you know as well as me, that we can’t stay in bed forever.

Woudn’t it be easy if we could tell the world, to wake you up, when everything is safe and sound.

Trust me, we all get that feelin, and it is hard to even imagine it rightnow.

I’ll tell you how I deal with anxiety and negativity.

1. Wake up.

First step, is to just open your eyes, and look at the ceiling.
Don’t think about anything and just stare at the ceiling of your room.
And BREATHE.
just breathe, and focus on your breathing.
This will help you stay calm for that time being and give a little push to start your day, and not waste your potential, for something that has come to trouble you temporarily.

2. Go to the kitchen, and make yourself something warm to drink.

I usually head to the kitchen and make myself some green tea, or matcha, whatever my mood asks me to.

Here is a list of things for you to make yourself in the morning:
1. Green tea ( helps with calming yourself and soothing your morning)
2. Matcha (makes you feel refreshed and positive to start your day.)
3. Cinnamon tea (to give yourself some of that “self-love”)
4. Warm water ( to kick start your morning.)
5. Cold water ( to give you those early morning chills.)

3. Sit, inhale the aroma, sip and breathe.

I usually sit with my drink on my kitchen cabinet, or in my living room, taking in the aroma of my drink, and just breathing in. I read somewhere, that you should inhale thinking of all the beautiful and positive things, and exhale out all that yesterday’s energy, which doesn’t serve you well

So, go ahead, and feel comfortable sitting alone. Now, is your time, where nobody is going to tell you what to do, and what not to do. This is your time to think, and make wise desicions. So just sit, inhale the aroma and sip and breathe.

4. Everything that you are going to do today, should be your choice.

I start my day, thinking everything that I do, today should be enough to give me a goodnight’s sleep that night. So, I will make my own desicions, stop and think to make wise desicions when things get tough, and look inside myself, for that guidance, which is always present with me.

So, you are the boss today, and everything that you do today should help you give that feeling of satisfaction, that you haven’t wasted your time, instead learnt something from the things that you did today.
This way, you won’t regret wasting your time.

5. Do everything that you love to do.

Go ahead and dance to that slow music you put up, in your bathroom, to shower to. Eat your favourite breakfast. Today is your grooming day. Be present for yourself. Watch an amazing movie today. I would recomment watching comedy movies or rom-coms.

Light-hearted movies will help feel happy about life, and you’ll notice yourself, laughing more if you try harder. And whilst watching a movie, I would suggest you to watch it with a purpose of learning something from it. This way, it won’t make you feel like you have wasted your time. And after the movie is finished, right down in your diary, of what you really learnt from it.

I assure you, you will feel happy, and you’ll know that you have alot of potential inside of you.

6. Do more things that your heart is telling you to do.

Be it going out for a walk, or hanging out with friends, or baking yourself some delicious cookies. Just do everything that you want to treat yourself to today.

And most importantly don’t forget to love yourself. Stay happy, and stay healthy. Have an amazing day ahead.
